Agreed. The current chat room does not have enough cache to trace back previous discussion.  
E.g. if commander order to takes certain tile say 271. After an hour of chat, this order is lost.  
Therefore, we Commanders and officers need the “ability to pin message” in chat room.

Without such ability, any meaningful discussion (orders, strategy, instructions, division of labor…) is short lived.
