Look at the list of buffs Caine has active, last I checked his own active skills don’t work on him.

He can pick up his own packs if it misses, usually, and it’s been in the game for a while, nothing new here

He also may put bubbles on himself if stay close to hero which target of this skill. Plus Brogan. Brogan copy all buffs which have to entire team.

This has happened because you tried to put the buff on Ghoul who is right next to you, his skill’s don’t act on a 1 tile basis so you can hit yourself with the buff if you are close enough to the tile the buff is applied to.
