New Hero: Alvarez
Alvarez, the Psychotic Psychiatrist, terrorizes the enemy with powerful sedatives, putting them in stasis and leaving them unable to act. With the ability to damage every enemy at once and Stun them, he works as a powerful interrupter, destabilizing the opposing team for easy cleanup.

Hero Fragment Limits - An Update
The Hero Fragment limit for Co-op Raids has been raised from 8 fragments to 15 fragments. We greatly appreciate all your feedback as we move forward with the game and with new Heroes. Let us know what you think!
Halloween Scavenger Hunt is Back!
Time to go on a spoooooOOOOoooky Hunt! The Halloween Scavenger Hunt is back, from Oct. 24th, 2019 to Nov. 10th, 2019! Seek and destroy pumpkins and earn holiday tokens to get awesome prizes in the Holiday Store!
Make your way through all the game modes and find all 100 pumpkins:
- 60 Common
- 30 Rare
- 10 Legendary
Find and shoot all the pumpkins and you’ll be awarded a new Rare Holiday Skin for Matador: Muerto!
There’s lots of prizes to be found in the Holiday Store, including previous Holiday Skins!
Prizes include:
- Elemental Fragments
- Skill points
- Razorback skin - “Pumpkin King”
- Ghoul skin - “Trickster”
- Lancer skin - “UAF”
…and many more!

Alvarez Skin Event - Maximum Madness!
Grab your friends and head to the Dojo for the Co-op Raid Maximum Madness, for a chance to win awesome rewards, including Alvarez’s exclusive skin, Witnessed!
Take on enemies and collect Witness Tokens:
- Level 35+ = 50 Witness Tokens
- Level 45+ = 100 Witness Tokens
- Level 55+ = 125 Witness Tokens
- Level 70+ = 150 Witness Tokens
- Level 85+ = 175 Witness Tokens
- Level 90+ = 200 Witness Tokens
Use your Witness Tokens to open Witness Crates, which costs 200 tokens. Witness Tokens and the Witness Crate will expire November 22nd, 11 am PST, so make sure to use them before then!
The Witness Crate continues the tradition of having great prizes, including Alvarez’s exclusive skin Witnessed and Gilded Tokens!
NOTE: You’ll need to have a Team Level of 40 to unlock the Skins function and equip your Witnessed Skin if you win it. If you win the skin from Team Level 35-39, you’ll still own it, but you won’t be able to equip it until Team Level 40.
The event will run from November 8th, 2019 to November 15th, 2019! Good luck and have fun!
New Weekly Crate!
Starting from Monday, October 28th, you will see 1 of 6 specialized crates in the Shop from Monday 12PM PST to Friday 12PM PST! These 6 crates will be released on rotation one at a time.
The 6 Crates are as follows (and will be in rotation in this order):
- Mechanical Crate
- Frontline Crate
- Biochem Crate
- Midline Crate
- Energy Crate
- Rearline Crate
These specialized crates will help you build out your roster of heroes and feature a chance at a Gilded Token, 2 Hero Crate Tokens and Quick Win Tickets. What makes these crates different besides their namesake?
The Elemental based crates (Mechanical, Biochem, and Energy) will cost 200 gold for a single pull and 10x at 1800 gold. These crates will feature all but the last 2 months released Heroes in their respective elemental crates in the form of Fragments. 2 to 5 star Hero frags have the same drop chance, and 7 star Heroes have a slightly better drop chance than the Hero Crate.
The Line based crates (Frontline, Midline, and Rearline) will cost 400 gold for a single pull and 10x at 3600 gold. These crates will also feature all but the last 2 months newly-released Heroes just like the Hero Crate, but with an increased chance for Heroes of their respective battle line roles. These are full Heroes with the exception of 2 star Heroes which are bumped up to 3 star amount of fragments! 7 Star Heroes are also bumped up regardless of battle line role in all of these Line-based crates, having nearly 2 times better rates than the normal Hero Crate!
Finally, the Specialty Token for these crates will feed into any 6 of the new crates. The crate you really need to fill out your roster currently not in the store? Feel free to save up your Specialty Tokens and use them for the Specialized Crate that you truly want! One token is required for any of the elemental based crates and two tokens are required for any of the line based crates. These tokens will never expire as such and can be found at rewards in various game modes in the near future and through packs. Once you log into the game after October 28th, you will be greeted with a couple of free Specialty Tokens in your inbox!

Kurtz
Kurtz continues to bring the hurtz, but it still requires a bit of tweaking.
- Dominate - ending chance increased from 5% to 7.5%

Fierce Retaliation - reduced from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.
Matador
Matador is our Buff Focus for this month! Rally Cry’s cast duration is being lowered to prevent him from being locked too long in his animation. To compensate for this, the armor given will be increased.
- Rally Cry - cast duration reduced from 3 seconds to 1.5 seconds, armor given increased by 15%
- Rending Blade - Increased bonus shots from 10 to 20

Chaingun - increased rate of fire from 7.91 to 10 rounds per second
Moss
Adjustments to Moss’ Healing Cloud and Corrosive Shot will provide more utility for his teammates.
- Healing Cloud - increased size of effect

Corrosive Shot - increased chance from 35% to 40%
Nightingale
Nightingale’s Legendary skin Combat Medic is getting a little more legendary.
- Legendary Skin Combat Medic’s skill Healing Wave time increased from 6 seconds to 9 seconds.
Sapphyr
We’ve made some small adjustments to Sapphyr’s healblock, allowing enemies to bounce back just a tiny bit more before she strikes again.

Surge
Surge’s healing is getting a boost. High five that Helping Hand!
