Alliace Patrol Crate Duration

I noticed today after unlocking the alliance patrol crate that the duration has increased from 7 days to 12 days and change? Was this announced before? Either way, it is an unwelcome change due to the longer frequency to attain universal fragments among other rewards. If it was mentioned before in a previous update then I apologize and will just adapt.
