A little respect goes a long way — especially for new players

I wanted to share this because I think new players should feel welcome in the Hero Hunters community. In this case, a new player joined the world chat and was welcomed, but another player responded by calling them a “weakling.”

Everyone started as a new player once. Instead of discouraging someone who is just getting started, let’s give them a chance, help them learn, and keep the community friendly.

New players are the next generation of the game. Let’s welcome them, not push them away.

A new player, [IND33] SCOUTS REGIMENT, introduced himself in World Chat as a new gamer. [NXTG] TOPHACHRIS254 responded with “welcome weakling.”

Don’t expect the SC devs to do anything about it.

This game is dead anyway for current players to waste money on.

I find it interesting when a “weakling” greets another “weakling.” Personally, I tend to use the word “newbie.” (My own strength is over 7 million.)

I don’t know if you took a long break (261,xxx points over 1,725 days), but a lot has changed here. The forum is practically dead (if anything is happening at all, it’s on the Discord server). New players have virtually no chance anymore.

There won’t be a next generation, the game has been around for over eight and a half years. You give it a try, and eventually you realize it’s always the same, nothing new, nothing exciting, no changes, so you leave.
