He’s not used a ton, but he’s used more than enough. The problem is as you explained though, it’s incredibly hard to beat rolling Kurtz teams. The worst part is this strat takes next to no skill. You literally don’t have to aim, pick a kill order, or anything… you just roll left and right until your skills pop. As soon as that happens you use execute and then auto win the match.
Killing other heroes might be a legit strat while Kurtz rolls, but even then you get a pretty nasty debuff. Friendly AI doesn’t help as they focus other heroes and usually won’t help with focusing down Kurtz.
Most players will bring Flatline so even if Kurtz kills one of their own heroes they are instantly revived.
I am guessing the ONLY thing keeping Kurtz from being seen more, is that he is fairly rare still. Other heroes like 4-Cep are acquired much easier and can be just as good, though require more effort. Put Kurtz with Mandrake, Phalanx, Flatline, and a fifth healer (Heimlock or Keel probably the best options), and he is nigh unstopable while also requiring very little skill.

Most people who have Kurtz know how he works at this point. They either use him themselves or have faced teams with him. It’s not a huge secret…

I noticed that. I dont get why my heroes take forever to charge their skills but I eat their skills in less than 10 seconds
It seemed like a bug. Instead of charging at 1.3% speed, mech heroe abilities were charging MUCH slower.
It is. The devs said they were working on it in the pvp post.

I have to say that Ghoul’s improvised bomb should just explode on landing ala Lancer, Salvator, Yanlong, etc. I mean, it’s not like he’s throwing a pound of C-4, the damage is moderate, so lets give that baby the best chance to do damage as possible. I thought the update change might actually transfer him out of the Patrols level heroes but I feel this is not the case. His Molotov skill might be the most useful weapon he has but the amount of time he stands there admiring it is annoying.
My guess is that the may update will be the Watch because It went Brogan(Magistrates), Prophet (Rangers) and now it should be the Artemis (watch) Maybe?
It’s the same problem, at least in PVP, as with all AOE/area effects. They are super easy to dodge and AI is great at dodging them as well, so the abilities are nearly worthless. They are just decent vs stationary bounties. Same reason Maven and other heroes keep getting buffed but still aren’t all that great in the game.
It’s not necessarily a big deal, I just noticed that Whiplash, with the Calamity skin, applies to an enemy in a much quicker amount of time. Pretty sweet if that’s the case.
