New gauntlet sucks. Its too hard and infuriating to not get the resources that i used to get easily. It makes me quit playing every time i have to repeat gauntlet levels several times. Is that the plan hothead to make me quit and uninstall?
All i see is complaining all over the place. We actually have developers that play the game and for the most part make it better for all that cry. I seen gaulents to easy that its annoying to do it easier. Nerf this toon buff this toon. How bout we try just playing the game and enjoying it. I mean we all wanna have fun but yall make it to where each person is happy its a community thing we all should just play like you do other games that developers dont play and listen… all in all lets stop complaining and jut play tbe game… thanks that is all

Nice one and I understand where you coming from. HH are not being that fair I’d say. Using 100 quick win tickets and then you still can’t use the heroes you want. Quick win tickets should not be just a fast way to do the gunlet but to not even use any of your heroes. Basically you paying 100 quick tickets to do the gunlet. On black market 10 tickets are 20 gold. Means to use 100 quick win tickets to do gunlet costs you 200 gold. That’s way to much. And I’ll add an extra and is for the pm which now is broken. To see what someone pm you need for both to be online. And how can you actually do alliance wars where pm chat don’t work. Before that we had all chats not working and the game went ballistic and unplayable. As for info subscription is just been cancelled by me. All the bugs there is I am not sure at all. To not even talk about matchmaking and all different sorts.
The new gauntlet is fine for me. It’s difficulty actually makes you play the game, and you can quickwin now. I don’t get what the fuss is about when they actually gave the update what the players have asked. Complaining that quickwin should not use any heroes? Um, isn’t the point of gauntlet being smart at picking which hero to use per sector?

Campaign Normal: 1 qw ticket each
Campaign Hard: 2 qw ticket each
Raid (Solo) : 3 qw ticket each
Gauntlet: 100 for 15 sectors, so 100/15 = 6.67…per sector.
100% agree we asked for it and they gave it us. Thou was hoping for more Cash and Crystals for the effort.

I liked the upgrade of the gauntlets but it is very difficult to pass the 6 and 7

Yup, the amount of quick win tickets required is ridiculous for Gauntlet. Why not make it 50? That way it would still be one the highest amount required per mission at 3.33.
Not only that, for people who aren’t VIP 10 or higher it now takes longer to do Gauntlet if not using tickets. I have to actually try on sector 5 and ration my heroes out properly. Before I could just auto play at 3x speed and beat em no problem.
For people who ARE VIP 10 this is probably a slight improvement since they don’t have to do Gauntlet missions 30 times per day and the difficulty increase is outweighed. But I can’t really say I’m surprised for everyone else that this another example of HH taking a simple concept and somehow making it worse.
To be clear: nobody is forcing you to Quick Win. If you’d rather play at 3x speed, you can make that decision. This is a convenience for people who want to get it finished and get to other parts of the game they might enjoy more. You’re never obliged to spend anything on anything at any time in our games. There’s always a way to play otherwise. In this case, it’s playing the mode.

You do realize most can no longer auto play at 3x speed and win since you ramped up the difficulty, right?
@Muninn - I think the problem that people have is that gauntlet is now MUCH more difficult for what is essentially the exact same reward.
When the community was promised a net-positive outcome and now many are faced with an overly harsh net-negative from this update, it’s perfectly understandable that a lot of players are upset.
Personally, at VIP 10 and 13k quick wins, I’m selfishly loving the change. But I’d be a fool if I didn’t have sympathy for all the people less than VIP 10 doing orders of magnitude more work for the same payoff.
When people said gauntlet was too easy, it didn’t mean they wanted to have to work harder for the same rewards; there was a (very reasonable) expectation that with higher difficulty would come higher payoff. That didn’t happen for the vast majority of the playerbase.
So like I said - for ME, this update is great. But overall, the execution fell extremely flat of what it SHOULD have been. The mechanics are wonderful, which is the tough part. Now comes the part where numbers get tweaked more appropriately.
Based on what you’re seeing on the forum, it might seem like it’s overly negative. Our player base expands far beyond active forum users, and overall, the changes are greatly appreciated. That’s not to say that your feedback doesn’t matter, and we don’t hear you, but overall, things seem to be working for the vast majority!

Yep! You can play the game at regular speed if needed, too. Or you can not play the mode and spend your time elsewhere. It’s your call, really. Whatever works best for you.

I have no doubt that the changes are working. But “working” and “improvement” are not synonymous. I was trying to make the point that while gauntlet is still very possible, the changes brought about a much lower reward:effort ratio for anyone without a massive QW surplus.
