Will the gilded crate ever get updated, no new heroes in it and only thing someone may want to use the tokens for is the ff token.

I completely agree with you. Many boxes have been in need of replenishment for a long time. Many players have an overabundance of tokens…

doubt it. FF used to be part of HHG, so whatever hero they brought in with that collab was their own. With the shift in owners, it was no longer under the same company.
FF - it was an unnecessary introduction to the game…
