these changes are fine but why wasn’t her evasion field changed it has a 10% chance to activate a 30% evasion fiels for 6 seconds. but that is so convoluted. why can that be changed to being always active and and give you 10% chance to heal off that.

why in the hell is she getting buffed??? she is really powerfull with her incinerate skill and combining her with good healers makes a really good team. she didn’t need this. i think people aren’t using her because she doesn’t look that exciting and her sacrifizing her health for a attack ability doesn’t sound good. she is really underrated because of that. something you can’t do anything about. tho it is kinda fun seeing a strong hero being buffed
Also, this was Lord Nikon’s most favorite hero , so RIP Lord Nikon. I am pretty digging with how the nuclear missile works though. Also talking about missiles, Castellan turret is Op in gauntlet as I found out yesterday when killing the enemies.
The problem wasn’t Mariannas, it was her synergy with Krieger/Halo/Kiyoshi. That synergy has been nerfed into the ground and Marianna is no longer a viable hero. RIP
Good? I haven’t played her since the patch, but those other heroes can fit in other teams, and now she doesn’t ruin every match. Seems like a fair trade. Maybe they’ll tweak her eventually.
So Marianas got nerfed so her razor wind hits every 2 seconds. You’ll still get hit by halo And Krieger and Kiyoshi every 2 seconds. She was doing exactly what she was supposed to do, the other three were not. She wasn’t broken.
Unless I’m wrong. Someone go ahead and tell me Krieger halo and Kiyoshi don’t hit you 100% of the time a damaging skill is used.
Completely agree… when you finally had a team that worked in great synergy, they come with the nerfhammer at the wrong place again. Every second or maybe every 1,5 seconds would be reasonable… but every 2 is really striking the synergy of this team down a lot… should have not updated and kept the pvp event with the last patch… getting screwed over by Kurtz abusers with a sacrifice low level char is not fun… Where is the fix for this sort of crap?
balance is a necessary function in any game to make sure things are playable and fun for all. so no more heavily focusing on the marianas teams where you dont need effort. and if kurtz is an issue, just kill him first. every obstacle has a solution. you just need to figure out the way
You show me how you do that, when your opponent has a level 1 char that just falls dead by a sharp look from one of your AI controlled 4 other team members…
The time it takes for you to kill Kurtz, his plat + Kiyoshi + Halo will already have killed your team off like Marianas synergy team did before to bio only teams…
if you have a lvl 1 character, of course he will die fast. use someone who isnt a level 1, who is a strong dps to take down kurtz/halo and kiyoshi. its easy to do. just need a good combo
I am digging the mk.2 and dave skin portrait. Just a big sploch of Dave’s face. Also the skin includes Dave’s head which is around mk.2’s robot face which technically means we can headshot mk.2 with skin. Right?
People…Marianas was NOT ruining every match, and her synergy with Halo, Kiyoshi, and Kreiger was NOT ruining any match ever. The fact that Halo, Kiyoshi, and Kreiger’s Platinum/Platinum/Gold skills (respectively) hit at 100% instead of the percentages their skills describe was, and STILL IS, the problem.
I stand corrected. It appears the developers fixed the glitch with Halo, Kiyoshi, and Kreiger at the same time they nerfed Marianas. While we’ll unfortunately never see how this fix would have played out without changing Marianas, it does make three broken heroes work correctly. It would be nice if glitch fixes were included in patch notes, but thank you devs!
Razor Wind to 2 seconds is too long, actually.
Mariana is good only for her Razor Wind, since Tempest didn’t have a strong damage, and Maelstrom is almost useless.

You really don’t get it do you? I have no level 1 chars. It’s the enemy team abusing the pvp system with bringing a level 1 sacrificial lamb into the play only to trigger Kurtz platinum skill to nuke my team f.e.
The fact that there are no restrictings to what chars you can or cannot bring with you into a pvp match makes it so frustrating and so exploitative.
For example there should be a ±5 level gap allowed only between characters to choose for a team lineup. That would drastically mitigate the sandbagging and sacrificial lamb teams and make it much fairer in PvP.
sorry @PredatorJ82 I can only like your post one time or I’d still be clicking it. Could not agree more on the +/- restriction. I’ve tried to think of all kinds of ways to straighten out PVP but I never thought of that one and it’s beautiful.
Halo’s Platinum and Kiyoshi’s Platinum activate 40% and 50% of the time, respectively. There was no glitch that caused 100% activation. What you’re seeing is probability in action.
Probability is a reflection of possibility. It’s not a guarantee. If something has a 5% chance of happening, it doesn’t mean yoi’re guaranteed to see it every 20 tries, or that five times back to back is impossible. It’s still a roll of the dice. Dice are fair.
Picture someone rapidly rolling dice every half second, along with extra dice for other Skills that might activate those Platinums. Chances are still good that you’ll get good rolls in those times due to the sheer number of rolls happening. Lowering Marianas’ Razor Wind to 2 seconds means fewer activation rolls for Halo and Kiyoshi.
This doesn’t change the laws of probability. Remember: if I have a 1% chance of something happening, and roll 1,000 times a second, chances are it’ll appear to be a 100% activation if you’re not aware of how many rolls I get. There was no glitch. Marianas’ Razor Wind simply allowed too many rolls too often, so we solved the problem, and will keep an eye out for any further hero adjustments that might be warranted in the future. Thanks.
