SOS…Most 95 levelled players are unable to ruby their six platinum graded heroes because one of the requirements for ruby heroes are ruby chest armour for which one requires ruby throwing knives. What the heck? One cannot farm ruby throwing knives because 1- 8 extreme campaign mode just seems unbeatable. Guys with a solution are requested to lend a helping hand to prove it otherwise or else the Devs needs to twitch the game mode a bit to make it playable for 95 levellers. …SOS.
You can beat every extreme mission from 1-1 to 3-4 without a single ruby hero. I would advise you check out my guide if you are stuck on what teams you need to use. At the top of each district I have a recommended upgrade level for the district as well… 1-8 is honestly rather easy, compared to later missions it is very trivial and simple.

I have exactly the same problem. i’am on the same extreme mission and I can’t beat.
I’am level 95 like you, and I don’t have Kurtz and Serial, and on this point is harder win this stronger heroes at the crates, and the serial is not included at any crate what makes impossible win this hero.
The game is programmed to difficult us for win ruby gear.

Serial was released when Extreme was announced, they are a double package and honestly you can’t beat extreme without Serial. Some people will denounce using Serial and say you’re wrong and a liar and etc but if you want the best and easiest time beating extreme then Serial is what is needed. Kurtz can be excluded from some of the teams, but Serial can not without exception. You will just have to keep on upgrading your heroes and find a good alliance for wars to unlock Serial fast. I would recommend finding an alliance above 25m as they earn 40 Serial fragments per war and 60-80 a season, in total that is only around 3 seasons to unlock him assuming you have 0 at the moment (which you probably don’t). In the mean time take a look at this section on the guide for other heroes you will want to ruby for extreme, they will help prepare you as you get closer to 100 and later extreme districts.

I agree with Gale. I’m level 95 and had the same problems you guys are having with extreme levels. I used the team comps and strategy in the guide and it was a cake walk to 3-5. The strategy works well

As mentioned above. Use his guide. Rubying serial. Or even at plat will ease it with so much. I managed to beat all the way to district 3-4 without a single ruby hero. I also don’t think it has to be tweeked as i see it as a challenge one has to face before they enter the final stage of the game

Maybe this is worth mentioning too. I beat all the way to 3-2 without serial. If you do not have serial at that sweet level. You can hit me up ingame (Avatar Mellow) and ask me for help without needing serial

I’m terrable at hand playing and I made it past 1-8 on auto with plat 4 bar 10 star. Hive. Bucket. Oricle. Kyoshi and hido. I didnt have cerial built at the time. But he got me up to 3-4 with ease when I did build him.so if I can get through I know you can.

finally did three stars few days back and want to conclude this post by saying all that 1-8 extreme is beatable. I used Serial, Krieger, Hivemind, Halo and Flatline. Thanks all for beautiful suggestions @Gale, @Robert_Pronk, @Okelly, @Cyrus and others.
