Did I miss the vote for most wanted crate loot? Because it seems crazy people want Bucket and Ronin, skin tokens, and specialty tokens in a most wanted crate?
I find it crazy if there was no vote and the devs just decided what we want most. Surely, this cannot be the case?

If you’re referring to the options for rewards in the Most Wanted Crate, those and all other crates and their contents have always been decided upon by the developers. There were never any polls or votes to decide the contents.
I do agree the contents of some crates, especially the most wanted, needs an update. 60 frags for Gammond aren’t exactly “most wanted” haha…
