Addressing This Week's Issues

Simply put, there are hundreds of active players on the game, each one either took multiple (many) rewards or didn’t take any. And everyone is on a different scale of levels, reward amounts, etc. To expect HHG to precisely revert everything pre-glitch, with people spending money, heronium, stamina, etc., is just not plausible.

Regardless of how one took advantage of it, what we had was an unideal situation that left devs and players alike annoyed and put out. Best to forget about it and move on.

Hey guys,

Thanks for sharing your feelings with us. I’ve left this open for a few days to give people a chance to be heard. I’m shutting it down, now, as it’s become an echo chamber with the same sentiments and complaints being shared repeatedly, along with a lot of inaccurate information about us taking more than we said we would and results of personal support inquiries, which go against the forum rules. There’s no new discussion to be had, so this topic has run its course.

Please remember that opening duplicate topics will result in that topic being closed, and continuous failure to follow forum rules may result in temporary suspensions. I hate having to mention that, but given the emotional temperature right now and the kind of threats we’re receiving, I want to offer it as a friendly reminder so that we don’t have to go down that route for anyone.

You’re entitled to your feelings, but please remember that the support team is not responsible for the action we took to correct this exploit. I would ask that you don’t take it out on them. They can pass on your feelings to us if you want to leave feedback, but they can’t grant you any rewards you feel you should be given due to having exploited rewards removed. As I’ve said before, the deductions were exact. If you used up some of those rewards in fear of them being taken back, that amount was still deducted, which can make it seem like you lost “extra” if you don’t keep strict records of every game action you take. We do, and I can assure you, the deductions are correct based on how many times a player engaged in the exploit.

Thanks, everyone, and once again, we’re sorry this action had to be taken. Stay safe!
