This has been an interesting read…….but gonna revert back to the original post. As LordNikon pointed out, stopping the production of new heroes won’t “shift resources” over to bug fixes or new content production. Do I think new coop stages, new bounty stages, etc. would be nice? Heck yeah! But am I dissatisfied with the game? Absolutely not. Been playing for over 2 years and am not stopping any time soon. So lets stop telling HH how to allocate resources and just keep it simply at I have a belief that bugs and new content need attention.

Now, “people who stand up are getting punished”…??? By the way what is the definition of “punished” being used here anyway? Banned or just having a post closed or censored. I’ll just go with all of the above.

I haven’t seen not one single critical post maker get “punished”. I’ve seen disrespectful post makers get “punished”. I’ve seen rude, misogynistic post makers get “punished”. I’ve seen agitating and provoking post makers get “punished”. I’ve seen off topic post makers get “punished”. I’ve seen post makers replying argumentatively to a reply to their post get “punished”. But not once have I seen a post in these forums that was constructive in it’s criticism and within the rules and parameters of forum content get “punished”. Ever.

Lastly; I respectfully ask people to stop speaking for “others”. Speak for yourself please because “others” means me. Let the “others” speak for themselves. If you have a feeling about something, say “I”, it’s your feeling, own it.

A lot of people view rolling as “cheating”, or at the very least cheap. I agree with your sentiment though, it’s a game mechanic, not cheating. It seems people just get annoyed by it so they label it cheating. To me, it’s not much different than in a FPS when you are strafing or jumping. No one expects you to sit still and get shot in those games so why would they in Hero Hunters??

The only exception might be Kurtz, where the main strat people use with him is to immediately start rolling to get their skills up, then auto win a match. It’s not something players do in reaction to getting focus fired, they just auto roll from the start and don’t shoot with Kurtz at all because his abilities are so powerful.

This is my biggest beef. I get new heroes are added monthly for a constant source of revenue. However, playing all the same story missions, co-op raids, bounties, PVP maps, etc. for years has made the game feel so stale. One new hero that may only be used in a fraction of these does not breath a fresh of new life into the game. Also there are other sources of revenue. I have said before they should up the VIP levels. Give us rare or even legendary skins that cost money. I am sure tons of people would buy an ultra cool legendary skin for 3 bucks. Just don’t get greedy with it and ask 10-20 bucks for a skin and you would be golden.

Any rollers are annoying. Not only that but it takes no skill… once a roller is in the battle its who can get from cover to cover the fastest…THAT TAKES 0.00000000repeating skill to do. Its not even a real battle at that point. Yes it is in the game so you can get from cover to cover…not run a marathon :unamused:

Brave, rolling might be annoying but its still fair, firstly they are taking damage anyway, they cant charge their bronze fast, and they dont deal damage, so basically they are also on a disadvantage and if you cant hut rollers, then i guess its indeed annoying, i play on a not to fast but not to slow sensitivity with autoaim off, maybe try that

Nice poll, thank you that is exactly what we need <3

That’s false the whole reason people roll with kurtz is to charge his silver skill fast to use execute and the same for flats revive. So it’s definitely not a disadvantage

In several ways it is

Try having someone roll around when drake makes them invis waiting for heals… its much more annoying

No…it’s not. One of Kurtz’s “skills”, if you want to call it a skill, is Fierce Retribution. This “skill” almost completely (not 100%, but darn close) requires the opposing team to kill Kurtz first. So the process is pretty simple: start match, control Kurtz, roll around like you are on fire while your skills charge up, Dominate enemy and execute. Or, one of your heroes dies and Retribution kicks in damaging and disorienting the enemy (like a super Showtime) while your Flatline revives the fallen ally and you Dominate and execute anyway. It’s really fun when the Kurtz player has a 8k sacrificial bronze hero with the rest of their 22k platinum team so that you can’t help but sneeze at that bronze hero and kill them within 2 seconds of the match starting and, you guessed it, Retribution kicks in. OOOORRRRR, even better yet, is when you are pounding the Kurtz team because it was a poorly chosen team of which you could kill enemy heroes besides Kurtz and not feel too much pain and then, you guessed it, rolly polly stops for a second, executes one of their own out of fear, and beats you anyway because of the significant damage and health boost they just got.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ve killed my fair share of roller-skaters, but the point being made here is while my opponent is simply swiping left and right I’m trying like heck to kill Kurtz and hope the rest of my team doesn’t kill someone else accidentally. 0 skill vs. lots, and the 0 has the better chance of success.

I have beaten a kurtz roller with 9 star 2 bar, a 8 star mandrake with 4 bars and some support with artemis, Ive also done such things with other heroes, its doable

 no one said it wasn’t doable…….in fact I just said it was. The point is the difference in skill required to roll vs. kill the roller.

What they can do is make heroes that counter rolling, i dunno like introduce a skill that makes enemies receive elemental damage when they roll, or if they roll they get staggered

Your statement is ‘you have beaten them’ but is it a regular thing to beat them… heck I’ve beat a lvl 93 shiv min-maxer but that doesn’t mean I beat every single one I come across. The problem is it is very hard to beat and takes no skill and makes the game no fun…which tell me again what video games are for?

huh, sounds good…….just played a 22k Kurtz with an entourage of bronze and silvers. My team was 9 and 8* Yanlong, Vanguard, Gammond, Astrix, and Operator all within about 1.5k power of each other and all plat. Their team was no closer than 10k of their Kurtz with any hero and their lowest had about 8k power bronze. Absolutely no thought to their team composition other than an exploitation of Retribution because I killed the bronze hero almost instantly so I then took significant damage and couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. Then, you guessed it, they executed one of their own and Kurtz then proceeded to kill my whole team single handed. 0 skill, even with their 14k power disadvantage overall. Having a hero with a skill that inflicted damage or status affects for moving from cover to cover would have done nothing. Not that I don’t like your idea, but Kurtz is a 0 skill, min / maxing, exploit hero of epic proportions…in my opinion. I most often beat Kurtz teams with high power / high risk blitz teams…….and I said most often…which doesn’t mean often.

This is exactly the problem with Kurtz and I have been saying it for months. He got a small nerf a few months ago, but is still way to strong for the amount of effort he requires to play. Simple solution would be tone down his abilities and make his base stats stronger. That or make an Executed ally not revivable. I’m not sure the second option would be enough though.

I don’t think I have ever won a match where Kurtz gets Execute off because it’s literally game ending. Kill any ally and you just gave your entire team 1.5 MILLION more hp and 50k more damage per SECOND. Kill an enemy and your entire team gets 500k hp and the enemy does 20% less damage for 20 seconds, on top of the other team being down a player. It’s pretty much impossible to overcome these buffs once they go off, the only real option is to stop them before they happen.

This is much easier said than done. You HAVE to go for Kurtz first. Not only to stop Execute, but his Retaliation also applies a nasty 300k damage over 8 seconds debuff, as well as heal block if you kill another hero first. Have fun trying to kill him before your dumb AI kill someone else, or better yet Flatline revives him or the ally he Executed.

The idea of Kurtz was decent, but the execution was terrible. If a hero has abilities that are always game ending, his base stats should be absolute garbage and they should take forever to charge. However, Kurtz has much more hp than squishier heroes like Kuno and Astrix (he has around double). There is no overcoming 1.5 MILLION hp and 50k DPS, that is more than any tank in the game has (pre-ruby) and almost more than any damage dealer’s attack. It’s absolutely absurd. None of this would even be as bad if Kurtz was extremely difficult to play, but he isn’t, basically roll around until Execute pops, hit a button, then auto win.

I love the pun in the last paragraph lol…the execution was bad hahaha
