Extreme does not need a nerd. There’s a reason why it’s call ‘Extreme’ and not ‘Normal’. It’s suppose to be extremely hard and rewarding for those that work hard to pass it. Nerfing it defeats the purpose for those that work hard to climb that mountain.
The change I suggested was simple, a basic idea I had, but even though I don’t play it I still have seen enough for f it to understand where problems start,
I’ll just post my idea here for the time being,
First; for every level that’s been completed, every player gets 100 gold, so it wasn’t all for nothing, now, here’s how the new mode works…
Each district can only use certain heros, for instance, district one can only have ryker and nightingale, Salvador, cylde, razorback, u get the jist, but basically it works so every player upgrades ever hero at some point, they also learn to use them and find the best teams for each mission,
Finally, ALL enemies can only have a max of lvl 150 and ruby +2, that way it is still beatable, but also hard none the less, but also still needs to be possible, so maybe have less enemies, and also have a max of 2 stars required to quick win,

I’ve played it a few times occasionally, but I’ve also seen videos and I understand that there are indeed problems and challenges with it, that’s why some people go to make sure it is beatable by some standards and never just luck,
so you have played it, even though you said you dont. i take it you arent far in it either because you arent even at 95 to have at least some ruby heroes
Indeed, extreme is meant for ruby, but people are are struggling with it, remember this is all just a concept of mine, a basic idea so that heros are upgraded, as well as others, that way it all is rounded out in balance, I have seen extreme, I understand a lot of the challenges, and that some levels are just pure luck, that’s what why this is a concept to solve some problems, that’s all really
I see that most of the debate is about Stygia. While I understand both sides, I think that Extreme itslef might need a second look if a hero like Stygia is needed so much there. Not in terms of nerf but rather overall need of a rebalance. Luckily we have the best guy for the job.

many of us took a lot of time and real money to get our heroes to their maximum level, and nerfing stygia is a bad idea, remember that several players spent a lot of real money to evolve it to 10 stars, they should work on an idea on how to release empty and astral fragments, SAY DON’T RUIN THE GAME ANYMORE.
Another point, you did spend money, and just because of that you gain the right to have an overpowered hero others don’t? If I had her I wouldn’t even use her that much, as of right now she shouldn’t have been that powerful in the first place, she does need a nerf, nothing is perfect, she isn’t, tbh I understand why you wouldn’t like the idea of a nerf, but that’s why I think many things like gold cash and frags should be refunded, she shouldn’t have been this powerful in the first place
All of us spend money when we see good heroes; if such a hero gets nerfed then that takes away the motivation to spend money again.
Yes ;i agree Spending money doesnt give us right to ask devs to make changes we want ; but nerfing the heroes which we spend effort on makes me feel cheated. Only my opinion. Dont know about others.
If stygias shield is the problem why not bring new heroes that have skills like remove all the opponents shield or buff heroes like anvil who can deal damage to shielded enemies.
If i had no stygia ; i would not have or would have spend lots and lots of stamina to pass 5_8 extreme.
I am afraid to add 6th ruby bar to stygia and verill thinking they may get nerfed.
I use stygia for extreme and war power and rarely use for pvp

I agree with you, sometimes nerfing will have bad effects, that’s why I think some kind of refund should be issued, if they were to do so, however constantly adding new heros as counters create a endless cycle of impossibility, spewage is an example of that, and hikari, my poor guy will never see his full potential while she is still around, spending money is a hard concept to get around, it keeps the devs going, this game ain’t free but they don’t work for free, I just wish she was never this good to start off with or we wouldn’t be here in the first place…
I see this combo in pvp; a ruby matador and verill ; matador breaks cover and keep on giving shield to verill; if my team has stygia or a low power player who has stygia can beat that combo ; otherwise its almost impossible.
So shouldnt we nerf matador then?
Nerfing imo will only repeats the cycle of endless nerfing.
We nerfed this hero; next 3 heroes not good; then a new good hero comes ; again the nerfing happen

Good point, those people like to abuse that combo, pvp is a whole other subject tbh, for instance I think if you have a team of 2 heros, you should fight another team of 2, just makes it fair, also metador will run out of cover to destroy eventually, but also I posted earlier that verril should end trigger happy if a hero or boss is killed, prevents a whole team wipe,
I hope they don’t nerf her either. Nerfing is making a character less good. I think none of the heroes need that. Stygia can very easily be changed in a way that makes her just as good but less annoying. Don’t temper with her power. Don’t temper with how good she is in extreme. There are easy ways and good suggestions out there.
To add a suggestion i made myself. Shield duration decreased to 7 seconds.
It will grant opponents an opportunity to take her on. Every hero needs to have a weakness that doesn’r require a straight counter. On the other hand in extreme she refreshes her shield more often. Which results in better survivability.
Her bronze skill should silence as it says it should. But in return her silver skill is removed if stygia damages them. Hear me out on this one.
If you get caught in a cloud you have a small window to get out. If you decide to stay in the cloud you’re already good as dead. But you still have a fair chance to make a comeback if she decides to take you on. stygia with this change will give opponents in a 1v1 situation a fair chance to win. On the other hand in extreme the enemies will either stay in the cloud or die trying to get out. With these changes she requires more building around her weaknesses and she makes for a fair chance in pvp. And in some way it makes her better for extreme.
It also gives her a more diverse feeling, other than ‘spawn in. Stun and kill’ she actually needs to think who to target, who to stun and who to take down

I know that you don’t like nerfs mellow, but remember that nothing is perfect in this world, and tbh, she shouldn’t have been this powerful from the start, a splash dmg that last longer than most and deals insane dmg, But Also! Slows and even silences, ok that’s cool I geuss she’s a good her- stuns all enemies for entire match, oh, uh mayb- has a sheild in the millions with no cooldown and instantly regens! Ok umm wha- also has doing damage. OwO, WHAT?!
